Lil Jon Plans Crunk Comeback

Lil Jon has announced his comeback and the southern producer says he plans to make it "Crunk" once again. Jon's new "Crunk Rock" album was originally planned to be released in 2006 but three years later Lil Jon says the album will feature collaborations with the producers behind some of the most indelible, Billboard chart-topping hits of recent years, including DJ David Guetta, Dr. Luke and RedOne. In addition, Crunk Rock?s guest-star parade will include The Game, Ice Cube, 3Oh!3, Elephant Man, Pastor Troy, Ying Yang Twinz, Pitbull, Soulja Boy, R.Kelly, Akon and Florida punk rock group Whole Wheat Bread.

Jon also confirmed that the new album was coming and explained to fans what they could expect from it. "This album has all the Lil Jons you've ever heard," he promised in an interview. "From the crunk Lil Jon to the Usher-like Lil Jon to the electro Lil Jon who's hanging with LMFAO. I've got to touch all my fans...I never really had the commercial success internationally that I had in the States. This will help take me to another level where I deserve to be at. We're going to push the button, and it's going to be Lil Jon mania all over again."
